HONG GIL DONG

HONG GIL DONG

It was already 5am when I finished watching the korean drama hong gil dong...I was really really sad in my sleep coz it ends that he and he's group died. But I know, at the start of the drama, it says, "few years before this"Therefore, all of them are alive a year after the whole story from episode 1-24.hahha. I really hate the king before I slept, coz he's a traitor and can't be trusted. He can't even be a good friend and can't be honest to those loyal to him.Only then I realize, the king was indeed a great king, he's a savior and brave one.He said "hwal bin dang" is already gone. Yes they are, he really erased the group. But the members did survived. It was the hideout that was burnt-out and leave nothing behind. It was to show the nobles that he has won the battle against "hwal bin dang" but he remain a good and loyal friend to those who are honest to him esp Gil Dong. Before the actual attack has been made to their hideout, the king chang hui talk to hong gil dong. He should have discuss with him his plan and at night when the soldiers attack the hideout, and burnt-out everything, they're on their way out from the place and their hideout was gone, BUT Hong Gil Dong and Ryu Yi Nok's explosion of love exist forever.
King Chang Hui is a GREAT KING AND A GOOD MAN!!!

You Change My Life "Movie" Review

If you have seen "A Very Special Love" teamed up by John Loyd and Sarah Geronimo, then you should watch "You Changed My Life"...I am not in-love but kinilig ulit ako sa movie na ito. Just like the first movie they had, no part of the movie in which you'll feel bored since from the beginning up to the end, you're body's nerve will surely move. You cannot just seat in your place in the cinema and stare at the big screen, but instead, you'll find yourself grinning and later on laughing and shouting at each moment both of them were together in any scene. Maybe I'm a bit exaggerating about the movie review but sorry, that's how I feel. Kinilig ako "Pare"..It's true that the "Rain Dance" doesn't work anymore in this movie, it's still present but it did not work anymore. Hmmm.. Well, everybody need to watch the "Break Dance" and the "Power Hug" with the "5 seconds kiss deal".Whheeewwww.. Me and my friends can't stop but did make a little disturbance inside the cinema as we voiced out our kilig feelings..You should know what I'm talking about. So, come on guys...don't waste your time. Spend your time with your friends, lover or family members and grab a ticket of this new movie from John Loyd and Sarah Geronimo. I tell you, it's worth the watch. I promised.

My So-Called Love Review | Chinese Movie | Barbie Hsu

I was watching the movie of Barbie Hsu last night, slept after the first half and woke up at dawn to finish the other 2nd half. The story is about the woman who wanted to know the answer to the question "What is LOVE?". . . Everyone in the film is telling or showing different explanation of what love really is and so not all of them have the same understanding of what really it is. Cat Hsu is a woman who has a simple dream when she grow up and that is to live a life with a single big of happiness. Having a man around her isn't enough or should I say, the absence of that someone in your side makes you become someone who'll pick up another to replace for his presence. If I'll think immaturely, it would be easy for me to say, I don't like the movie or I don't like Cat, Barbie's rule here, because of her "bad girl personality" doing in film. First, she abandoned her mother at a young age for she can't accept her "new father" whom she thought was not a good man. Second, she lived with Liam, together they stay in an apartment and promised each other to love forever and faithful with each other, but both of them wasn't able to comply such promises they made, she becomes a prostitute to support her college education while Liam had a slept with his gay bestfriend. Third, Cat falls in love with a married man, had an affair and worst, it last for so many years, at most 10 years, and end up having a baby that Cat did not tell anybody who's the real father. Fourth, a young man with so many dreams, fall for her, she played with him for a while, and leave him in the air, with his heart shuttered. And lastly, she carried her child, together with Liam, Liam's bestfried and gay lover, her sister, all of them move away and leave all the past behind without cleaning her mess.... OK, to think maturely, maybe moving away was the best way of starting a new life and feel that single bit of happiness that she dreamed of. For me, maybe her meaning of having a single bit of happiness in life, in which Cat wanted, is to have someone around to love her forever, start a family with that someone she love and love her too... I slept and I woke up, but still I don't know what was her own answer of the question "what is love?"... I don't know how to answer it neither, but maybe I can take Liam's answer that "Love is having someone beside you forever" or her lover's answer "There's no answer to such question!".. NOW, WHATEVER..Love is love and a promise is promise. She promised to take Liam forever, as her first member of her family, of course, there's the second, third and maybe more upcoming member in her future family. What's good in the movie? Well, no matter how we look the different views of life, this kind of things normally happen everywhere and in everyone's life. Maybe different story, different status, different races, but all of us is looking for the answer of the question "What is Love" and everyone has different "so-called love". That depends on how you accept and understand the word in your life.

David Phelps An Internationally Collected Sculptor

David Phelps

David Phelps An Internationally Collected Sculptor

Artist David Phelps is an internationally collected sculptor known for sculpting monumental contemporary figurative artwork in bronze and other materials. David Phelps also creates small and medium sized sculptures as unique pieces and in editions of bronze castings.

Mr. Phelps' art is represented in private and public collections around the world. One highly visible public art commission is the Desert Wildlife series permanently installed in Gate D of the McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada. The large scale installation depicts five giant desert animals native to the surrounding desert. The surface of each sculpture looks like dry cracked mud; evocative of the desert environment. Many of the sculptures (some call them statues) created by David Phelps appear to be partly submerged or emerging from the ground. This somewhat surreal aspect of the image invokes Phelps' early years on the Roberts Island farm in the California delta.

David Phelps is on the road on December 18, 2007 for the "One Wintry Night: 8th Annual Christmas with David Phelps" tour. The tour will feature songs from his new release, A David Phelps Christmas: One Wintry Night (Compare Prices). "Prelude: O Come O Come Emmanuel" could easily be done at any midnight mass successfully. "One King" with Sonya Isaacs has some of the most beautiful harmonies of the season. "Interlude: Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" is another favorite. David does his usual job of knocking your socks off with his vocals and this tune is just plain fun on top of it.

Word Records' artist David Phelps' highly-lauded first full-length solo DVD and live CD, Legacy of Love: David Phelps Live! recently received the RIAA's Gold Certification. This milestone achievement signifies album shipments exceeding 50,000 units throughout the United States. The two-disc video and audio set, which was recorded at the historic Alabama Theatre in front of a capacity crowd, features 15 favorites as well as behind-the-scenes interviews with Phelps' family, home footage, outtakes and more.

Celebrating Phelps’ Gold-selling Legacy of Love is (l-r) Tim Marshall, Sr. VP of Channel Marketing, Word Label Group; Jim Chaffee, manager; David Phelps; Mark Funderburg, President, Word Distribution; and Rod Riley, Sr. VP of Marketing, Word Label Group.

Arsenio Hall Like Talk Thow

Arsenio Hall

The Arsenio Hall Show

Arsenio Hall Photho
The Arsenio Hall Show, a syndicated late-night talk show starring African American stand-up comedian Arsenio Hall, ran from January 1989 to May 1994. Paramount Domestic Television's syndicated division produced and distributed the show which aired primarily on stations affiliated with FOX Broadcasting. During its five year run, the show peaked at a 3.9 national rating in February 1990, an amazing feat for a syndicated show that had access to fewer TV stations than network programs and did not have a specific airing time across the nation (though it usually aired sometime between 11:00 P.M. and 1:00 A.M.).

The saga of Doyle & Debbie

Doyle and Debie Show Photo
The year just past saw the rebirth of many of the biggest names in music: The Police. Led Zeppelin. Garth Brooks. And now, Doyle & Debbie.

As one-half of the big dogs on the top rung of the fourth tier of country music's greatest duos, Doyle Mayfield has seen his share of the triumphs associated with limited regional success. In the late '80s, you could barely turn on your radio in western Idaho and south central Alabama and wait five or six hours without hearing Doyle & Debbie's breakout hit, "Stock Car Love," which Mayfield performed with first partner, later second wife, Debbie Gentry.

News of the newly reconstituted Doyle & Debbie spread through the entertainment community like wildfire. Late-night talk staple Conan O'Brien was the first in line to grab the duo for his show, with Doyle & Debbie scheduled for an appearance on Friday, Jan. 11, even if Purdy isn't quite sure who O'Brien is.

"I've been singin' till three o'clock in the morning for the past 15 years, and we didn't have TV down at the VFW hall, so I haven't even seen this Late Night with Conan The Barbarian stuff, Purdy says. "Is this the fella that replaced Arsenio Hall?"
